Updated: Oct 19, 2019

This guides explain how to continue to enable SafeSearch and YouTube Restricted Mode to keep your children safe and applies to any browser when you are using Google search and YouTube. And more importantly keeping it locked.

  • If you happen to have used supervised users it is recommended to remove the profiles, refer to the appendix at the end of this guide.

  • It is recommended to logout of all Chrome users and Google users from within the browser. Therefore when you browse to www.google.com you should not see your name or any of your children’s name(s) in the top right corner.

  • Use a single browser per user login. Refer to how to share one computer with your family
